Well I must admit that I am pleasantly surprised at the amount of helpful hints and info. I have purchased a 1996 Yellow savage as my first bike and wouldnt have it any other way. I am very short (5'0) and the savage seemed to be the only bike that was short enough (without modifications)
It was interesting to read other peoples comments on the 'farts' because as a first time rider this year I was a little unsure of the 'farts' but have now come to love them. You slowly learn how to control and now its hilarious.
I especially liked the hints for removing the sissy bar from WD 01-08-2001. It seems like a real pain in the ass, but hopefully now with the hints I can give it a try.
